What if my photos are not digitized?

If you have old printed photos, don't worry! You can still add them to your Storyworth stories. There are several easy ways to turn a printed photo into a digital photo that you can upload to Storyworth.
Take a picture with your smartphone
One of the easiest options is to simply take a picture of the printed photo with your smartphone. Place the photo on a flat surface in a well-lit area, then use your phone's camera to take a picture of it. Once you've taken the picture, you can log in to Storyworth on your phone and upload it directly to your story.
Scan the photo
If you have access to a scanner, you can scan your printed photos and save them as digital files on your computer. You can then upload the scanned photos to your Storyworth stories.
Many all-in-one home printers also have a built-in scanner, so check your printer to see if this is an option.
Use a photo scanning service
If you have a lot of old photos to digitize, you may want to use a professional photo scanning service. Local photo shops, print shops, and other businesses often offer photo scanning. There are also online companies that specialize in digitizing old photos.
Once your photos have been digitized, you can upload them to your Storyworth stories just like any other digital photo.
Tip: You don't need to digitize your entire photo collection. Just digitize the photos you'd like to include in your Storyworth book!
