How do I deal with warnings?
Our system tries to automatically identify issues in your book that might cause problems when the book is printed. We display these warnings when you review your book.
At the top of your review interior page above the preview, you will see a drop down menu. If you click on this, all of your stories will be listed within the menu. Anything labeled with a yellow warning is a minor issue we suggest being corrected. You may ignore these warnings if you are happy with how your story appears in the preview. Anything labeled with a red warning must be corrected before placing your book order. Our system will not allow you to proceed to the book order page if there are red issues.
When you click on the story title with a warning, next to the preview of your book, you'll see a description of the specific issue associated with that story. At the end of the description, you can click 'EDIT STORY' to access that story and make your corrections.
Please keep in mind your book interior has to fully load in order for you to see the error messages. You will also only be able to see the warnings if you are using the desktop version of our website. This capability is not available on the mobile site.
Once all of your corrections are made, refresh the review interior page. Once those warnings have gone away, you can scroll to the bottom of the review interior page to proceed with your book order.
Note: this applies to both memoir books and celebration books.
